MORNING WATCH NOTES:
Following the re-implemented Passover, 7 days later, the Feast of Unleavened Bread was held. If the Passover represented God‘s deliverance of the Jews from Egypt, the Feast of Unleavened Bread was a call to holy living. It was a call to live lives separated from the effects of the world.
Unleavened bread represents purity and separation from the old life in Egypt. The Feast of Unleavened bread here represents a second exodus of sorts, separated from Babylon; restoration and cleansing. Lord, may I live daily as redeemed in Christ, separated from this world’s effect on me (1Co 5:6-8).
