I cannot pass off God‘s righteous judgment as unjust; that someone else’s sin is somehow to blame for my foolish disregard for God. God had brought judgment against Judah. She was paying the price for her sin, not the sin of her ancestors.
MORNING WATCH NOTES:
Sin does have the for reaching consequences. But I am never the target of righteous judgment because of someone else’s sin. I am responsible for my thoughts, my words and my actions before God. Lord, may I not ignore your righteous judgment in my life.
