MORNING WATCH NOTES:
King David expresses his wonder at the omniscience of God. God is on the inside of my heart, mind and motivations. He is aware of my movements from sun up to sundown. He knows my thoughts and words before they ever leave my mouth. He knows my motivations for all I do.
There is no hiding from God any secret thing. Yet, God blesses me.
He goes before me. David is struck by wonder the way a child might view the beauty and mystery surrounding Christmas,
floating bubbles or the quirks in nature.
Lord, how this old sentry longs to redeem my enchantments with the great mysteries of God.
