MORNING WATCH NOTES:
How many a faithful servant of God does not, at one time or another, come to God with questions about his/her own work or ministry and their effectiveness at either?
Most, if not all, would like to think that their ministry will be the one that notoriously breaks through the wall of darkness. When the work falters, they come to God seeking answers. It may seem like God himself is as unreliable as a dried up brook. But God is able to withstand the questions of the open, sincere and faithful heart.
Lord, you may not always explain why. But you know what you’re about and will always stand with your faithful ones. There is no “Plan B.”

How He ruthlessly perfects…
When God wants to drill a man,
and thrill a man,
and skill a man;
When God wants to mold a man,
to play the noblest part,
When He yearns with all His heart
to create so great and bold a man,
…that all the world will be amazed;
WATCH His methods! – WATCH His ways!
How He ruthlessly perfects
whom He Royally Elects!
How He hammers him,
and hurts him,
…and with mighty blows,
converts him
…into trial shapes of clay
which only God understands.
While his tortured heart is crying,
and he lifts beseeching hands,
How he bends but never breaks,
when His good He undertakes.
How He uses whom He chooses,
and with every purpose fuses him,
…by every act induces him,
to try His splender out;
God knows what he’s about.
