Pray for this old sentry’s heart today.

Head & chest congestion and cough (COVID & stomach virus)…my body is saying don’t push it. Stand down.
BUT…

I desperately want to be with my bride of 52 years, today. I moved her to memory care just four weeks ago. I have not seen her going on four days. She has had COVID & stomach virus as well. Her needs are great (but she is cared for). Nevertheless, I miss her horribly at home.

I desperately want to connect with the fellowship of bros & sis’s in Christ. I want to join in corporate worship and the teaching of God’s word.
This old sentry’s heart is breaking, weeping great tears of disappointment to not get to do either today.

Praying for strength and comfort. Take it easy and don’t push it too much. Won’t be good for either one of you.

Yes ma’am. I’m taking it slow. God is working. Faith still stands. Prayers of God’s people lift me up. Pray for respite congestion relief. That’s what I’m struggling with at the moment.

Roger – God bless you my brother – I know your heart is breaking without your beautiful wife – there are many people praying for you – please remember Joshua 1:9 – God is with you – trust in His perfect will – we may not understand but we must remember Proverbs 3:5-6 – I love you and I will help in any way I can – your brother in Christ

Thank you John. Prayers greatly appreciated for Dianne to recover ground she’s lost to COVID, stomach virus and a sprained ankle (been in a boot 4wks); therapy hopefully starts today – exit the boot. I’ve had all that she has had with at least one relapse. I’m clear of all now except residual respirator congestion. Med follow ups ahead.

I thought approved comments were readable. I’d have research that. There was one comment similar to yours. The other two are my replies.

O, Most Holy, humbly I come to You with my brother, Roger and his wife. Please rid their bodies of virus and any other illnesses that are plaguing them. Please restore their health. In Your mercy, give them comfort and peace. Blanket them in Your love and tenderness. Hold them securely near Your heart until the storm of illness passes over. In the mighty name of Jesus, I ask all this. Amen.
