MORNING WATCH NOTES:
Faith that is activated in us is, in effect, a response of the heart in mind in reaction to someone or something we are convinced is real, genuine and true. When it comes to spiritual truth, that someone is the God of the universe.
God, by his word, created the entire universe (much more plausible than the unscientific “big bang“ theory – science relies on observable evidence – actually neither view is observable). But the entire Bible gives evidence of God’s existence, work and reliability. Based on the history of God I find in his word, I put my faith in the reality and reliability of God. Lord, I am convinced of your reliability.
